Here's
How
Pattern
- You will need a pattern of a small daisy shape. We used a dingbat-type font for our daisy, enlarged it on the computer, then traced around the shape on the felt with an erasable fabric marker.
Next, we stitched assorted buttons to the center of each daisy.
To make the leaves, we folded Neon Lime felt in half, and simply cut out various leaf shapes.
We used low-temp hot glue to attach the daisies to the lampshade edge.
Add the leaves after all of the daisies have been attached. Glue additional leaves around the top of the shade.
Tips
Layering the daisies and leaves will give your lampshade character. Don’t glue down every edge.
Use buttons around the top edge of your shade, or cut out additional daisies and glue them to the top of the shade. |
